Selamat Hari Raya

This post may come late but Syawal is a month long celebration. I hope all you had a great time with family and friends and yummy food. On the first day of Hari Raya we took family photos at home after a good breakfast. Pictures may be found on my Mummy's FB. We went to open houses and recently I followed Mummy to her office because they had a big celebration and I got duit Raya as well.

I had so much fun despite the heat. There were clowns and I got them to make me a dinosaur and flower balloons. Check out that wicked smile of mine. I had a little argument over my balloon. A little boy wanted my flower balloon but I won't let him have mine. He ended up crying when his mom took him away. I told Mummy I won ;)

I fell asleep somehow when lunch was served and ended up in the office sleeping with the cool air-condition.

Time Away

from the playschool. That's what I've been doing for the last week. I've been sick and luckily I'm up and well now. My friends at playschool are sick too. It was good to be home and thanks to the supplement my Mummy secretly mixed in my milk. I have been eating well but still picky. I demand what I want as usual and as always get it.

I was supposed to be in playschool yesterday but I chose to stay home with my Nenek. My Nenek's been here since last month and this year Eid would be merrier with her around. Mummy's happy because Nenek's doing all the cooking. Mummy's tummy is bigger now and my sibling will be out of Mummy's tummy next month. Until then I'm enjoying my time being the only kid in the household. The rocker Nenek bought is mine for now till my little sister/brother needs it.

Tomorow we might join a break fast do at Windbell and I might just get to meet and play with friends.

It's Been A While

My Mummy is too lazy to update my blog. It's okay and I understand. She's carrying my lil sibling in her tummy and I guess that explains her out of touch with the blogging world. I have been such a baby these days but I can proudly say that I have pee and finally poop in my potty. Of course there has been "accidents" and I told Mummy that I was still too shy to tell that I need to poop so I end up doing it in my panties/diapers. My parents got me Buttercup the unicorn from Toy Story 3. I still want more collectibles but of course, I have to poop in the potty! Working on it!!
Here's a pic of me at my 3rd Birthday. I got presents, I love my birthday cake, I had the closest people with me and my parents threw me a pool party!

Peepee in my Potty

This is a quick update since Mummy's pretty busy with other matters. I finally peed in my potty yesterday. It has been a week of sitting & waiting on the potty. Yesterday I made history and it was exciting how Mummy & I ran to the toilet to reach for my potty. In other words, it was fun. I have two potties. One is the conventional one which is purple and the other one is a Fisher Price. It makes music when I pee or poo in it. So I can pee in my potty now but I still pood in my diapers. This idea is so still very new. It's not like i haven't pood in it. There was a time when it did happened but that was because I was constipated and it happened in the potty. Well, my parents are proud of me and let's hope I am potty trained by the end of Mummy's leave.

Pool Party!

It's Saturday & it's Rania's birthday! I'll be attending her Splishing-Splashing Party at 3pm today. I got her pressie ready & I got my swimsuit ready. All I need now is a nap which is not happening yet so I don't fall asleep on the way to her house in Putatan.

Kite Flying

It's rare to be out but when the time permits, my parents took the opportunity to put a big smile on my little face. We went to Tg. Aru Beach on Sunday and I played on the swings and slides.

I saw a kid flying a kite and there and then my Daddy bought me a kite of my choice. It was the most beautiful butterfly kite I'v seen. My parents thought it was too colourful and outrageously striking.

We had snacks while waiting for the wind to pass by. No wind to fly my new kite but at last I didn't have to wait long. Though the drizzling rain stopped us, I had my moment of kite flying. It was fun!

Go Green!

A newly formed non-governmental organisations coalition called Green SURF said Sabah should pursue a cleaner power solution and not focus only on developing the planned coal-fired power plant in Lahad Datu. The coalition acknowledged the need to address the increasing power demand in the State but suggested there is still ample time to explore renewable energy, such as gas which is more environmental friendly.

It's high time that we think of what's happening to our earth and help to make her greener and not pursue personal interests. In the short run, coal looks like the best and affordable solution but the in the long run, it's not green at all. There is definitely alternative energy out there. One example that we'd probably can adopt is by american company, N-Viro International Corporation whose patented processes use lime and/or mineral-rich, combustion byproducts to treat, pasteurize, immobilize and convert wastewater sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value.

If coal was the solution, what this company is using is clean coal which doesn't affect the environment. Their green technologies complement each other and are build upon a unique concept transforming waste products into a beneficial fertilizer or ultimately creating N-Viro Fuel a renewable alternative fuel perfectly synergistic with the coal combustion industry.

Two different fuels, which are opportunity fuels made from biosolids and the other from manure, were blended with eastern Ohio coal and burned in the power plant’s fluidized bed boiler. The blended fuels performed well compared to coal alone; air emissions were below regulatory limits, and the boiler performed normally.

If only the government would opt and consider waste to energy as a greener solution, our children, their children and their children's children will have a better place to live in. Let's just keep our fingers crossed!

Tantrums, Tantrums

Of late I have been causing havoc at home especially at night. I demand to watch TV till late midnight. Last night Daddy didn't give in and lights were out and I cried in the dark. I cried for quite some time until Mummy cuddled me to sleep.

This is picture was taken last month after I recovered from my fever. It is my way of seeking attention.

The only way to my heart is balloons. I love balloons.

I discovered the balloon pump is fun to play with too.

Other than noodles, steamed buns is a hit with little picky eater me.

Marching, Marching!

March is here and I'm glad too. I'm healthy as I can be although I cough once in a while but that doesn't interfere with my activities. I've been going back to playschool. I missed two weeks of February because Mummy took a week leave and we didn't expect to catch the bug the following week.

My Mummy bought me Dora's drawing set and it's got paints and markers apart from crayons. I ended up colouring my fingers and foot. My Mummy freaked out.

Last night my Nenek from KL flew down so today I get to go home in afternoon from playschool because she wants to spend time with me. She'll be here for a week. I guess I'll be fatten up while she's here.

Oh yes, we had dinner at Sri Mutiara Seafood at Kg Air last night and I met my dancing partner, Yusuff. He and his Mummy are leaving for Brunei tomorrow. Till we meet again Yusuff!

Dim Sum!

We went to have dim sum for breakfast today. I love going to Promenade's Dynasty Restaurant. They're open &.30am to 2.30pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Other days they open at 1130am to 2.30pm and re-open at 6.30pm to 10.30pm. I love going there because while I eat I can see lots of fish swimming in the aquariums.

Today we were lucky enough to get the best table ever. It was right next to the aquarium where they had the goldfishes.

We had amongst others that I would definitely eat: szechuan congee with chakoi, pau (steamed buns) and egg tarts. I only ate the bun and not what's in the pau. They were too soft to resist. The egg tarts were cute but I only licked on the jelly. I love the congee because it was soupy.

Another Potty Day

Hey all, I think I'm liking the idea of this potty training. Today, I was on training pants as usual. Once again, I wore my pants on my own but then I thought, it's nice without it so I took them off but wore them again. I had an early nap today until I woke up wet and my Nenda changed me and put on my diapers. Surprisingly, I didn't like the wet feeling and took them off afterwards. Mummy was shocked when I screamed for her. I was only going to show her I took my diapers off because they were wet and I immediately sat on my potty for a split seconds. According to my potty training chart, I still deserve a star for that! Mummy was proud no matter what.

Oh no, I poop in my training pants!! Hurry Mummy, I'm sorry it happened too fast!

By the way, here's a pic of me and Renee during a Pre-CNY dinner we had with her family. Isn't she cuuuuuttteee?

potty training day 3

Today is the 3rd day of my potty training. I poop on the floor this morning while standing up. I'm not used to sitting & poo-ing yet. It felt nice though to wear nothing but my top on. I feel so free.

Though I had that big accident, I managed to take off my training pants when I peed and gave them to Mummy. Yea, she had to put them on in case I poop again.

Anyway, Mummy was proud of me when I took another training pants and put them on myself. I knew I could do it but Mummy helped a little. I wonder what's next in my potty training session. Well, you just gotta check on me tomorrow. Good Night!

Dinner was puddle choop (noodle soup). It was a mix of carrots, cabbage and potato - yuck but I love the soup!

Tiresome Tuesday

We had a tiresome day today. In the morning I was already in my training pants. Mummy had me on it since yesterday. I used to resist but now I am able to accept my cute colourful pants. Some are 6-layered and some are 3-layered. I had accidents here and there and Mummy got me to sit on the potty. Even though I only told her afterwards, I still get a reward! Tomorrow's another day. Hopefully I pass the test! That's me lazying around in my pool patrol while watching playhouse disney.

Mummy made herself corn beef with eggs and bread. I joined in because it looked so yummy.

After lunch Daddy took us to Suria KK. I fell asleep in the car. I was so tired. So when we reached Suria, Daddy had to carry me while I peacefully slept on Daddy's shoulders. My parents shopped but I woke up in the midst and I was fresh once again. We ended up home with new clothes, thomas the train, new dinnerware and big kid cup for me. That's me at Secret Recipe with my chocolate cheese cake! I went hyper afterwards!

Jog and Play

Today we went to the lake for a walk. I ran instead and got tired. I'm so glad I had my Nenek to carry me up and Daddy carried me afterwards. We all had fun and laughs. We don't get to do this often but when when we have the opportunity, my parents would grab the opportunity. I got to play on the swings, slides and seesaw too.

Oh, what an awesome weekend. Yesterday I had the time of my life too at 1Borneo U-Playground. It was so huge I didn't know what to play or start with.

Anyway, here at the lake, apart from the playground, I get to see all the fish swimming.

It's a Monday and after a stop Giant, we went home and Mummy cooked lunch. It has been a no-rice lunch for my parents.

Fried Chicken

Stirred fried Roman brocolli

My crabstick with carrots porridge

How's your Monday so far?

Gong Xi Fa Cai

I've practised saying this since before the celebration and with the hands too. I learnt it from Playhouse Disney. So today is Valentine's Day too. We went to spend the double celebration at Langkah Syabas. It's at Kinarut about 1/2 hour drive from the city. That's me yesterday when we arrived at the beach resort. I saw sheep, dogs and a cat. They (sheep) made the best cheese here. I love it. It's yummy!

My Dance Partner

Guess who? His name is Yusuff. There he is! The one in red. We were so actively dancing, Mummy couldn't capture us nicely on camera. We have to meet again Yusuff, my friend. You're so cool!

Oh yes, we were at Olde Station, a kopitiam we sometimes go for dinner at Damai.

The main reason my parents like to come here is because they have sofas and I sit nicely and behave myself. Other times I'd take along my laptop so I'm not bored when Daddy is on Wi-fi mode.

The food is nice too especially noodle soup and congee! Oh yes, not forgetting soft-boiled eggs.

I get to look busy too like all the other adults there in the kopitiam.

Food & Bubbles!

This week has been fun. Wednesday night Daddy came home with Big Apple's doughnuts. Yummy!

Thursday Mummy was on day off. We had breakfast, lunch and even dinner at home. This is my favorite: sausages with animal toothpicks!

The best part was Mummy and I blew bubbles in the evening. What a fun way to end the day. Anyway, it has been pretty hot these days. No rain at all compared to weeks ago. Weather's fair so far and I love it!

Caterpillar

eat leaves-become cocoon-cocoon becomes BUTTERFLY. I learnt this recently and Mummy is so proud of me. Today she asked me what I wanted for breakfast and I answered, "Puddle choop and egg!" and so I had that for breakfast. My lunch was simple. Just sausages and rice. Mummy gave me lettuce to try but nah, I'll pass this time!

It's Mummy's day off and I get to stay home with her today. How's your day so far?

Of Books & Golf

I love books. When we go out, we'd definitely drop by the bookshop and definitely come out with a book or two. That's me with my Nenda. Check out the books on the floor. I couldn't make up my mind which one I wanted. I'd also spend my time "reading" books.

I took up golf recently. Nenda bought me a mini golf set last Christmas. Thanks Nenda. It's a difficult game but I managed to score a hole in one. Sometimes the alligator cheats. His tail shoots the golf ball out. Lucky there's two golf clubs. I always have a partner to play with.

Miss Independent

That's what my Mummy call me these days. I love doing things on my own and in addition to that I nod and say YES. I use to love NO and still do but this nodding thing and the new word puts a smile to Mummy. She says now she knows whether or not I want a thing or not. Made her life easier I guess. Anyway here's some latest pictures of me. The above were taken last night at Sushi King. We had dinner and I only wanted the chawanmushi and ice cream. I was fascinated with chopsticks and even tried to eat with it.

My Mummy had to teach last Sunday and in the evening Daddy and I picked her up. That's me in the car without safety belts or even my car seat - hate 'em! Actually I like to be in my car seat but Daddy was too lazy to get it in the car. Mummy would make the initiative. The t-shirt has a picture of a giraffe. My Nenek bought it for me weeks ago at the flea market at Gaya Street. It was rm10! Cheap or what?

Mummy made this the other day for lunch. Mushroom chicken sausage wet noodles. Yummy! This picture was taken before I gobbled it all up. Nothing was left but luckily Mummy left some for Daddy in the pot.
