Pool Pool Pool!

I used to hate water but now I love water. I love having baths in my little bath tub and Mamee lets me enjoy my bath while she showers. I like to pretend that I'm in a jacuzzi and when it's time to dry up, I let Mamee force me out of the bath tub. Yesterday for the first time after a few visits, I was enjoying the pool with my rubber duckie and sat and waddle in my pool patrol. I wished I could play longer in the pool but it was getting cold and my parents forced me out. I cried and they promised to take me to the playground. They didn't but today I played on all the toys at Toys'R' Us. My Mamee got me a few stuff and we went off to the supermarket for groceries. I slept on the way home.

Last Kid Eating

We had an early morning today. We had breakfast at Kah Hiong. My parents are beef noodles lovers and I am myself too. We rarely eat red meat at home so at least once a month we indulge ourselves. Oh, did I mention I got the sniffles? Yup, caught it yesterday and open houses today are cancelled in our agenda. We got two invitations but my parents don't want me to spread my sniffles so we're staying home or just staing away from open houses. It must have been the sniffles or it's the yummmy beef noodles. I was the last kid eating my noodles and soup. Yummy!!!!

Playground

It's the second day of Syawal. You must be wondering why we have not had our open house or gone to any. Firstly, most of my parents' friends are back in their kampungs so we're waiting for them to come back. That is, of course, if they want to repeat the tiresome cooking last week when we had friends over for iftar. Another reason is because my parents are avoiding crowded places. You know how it is with open houses. We didn't even go back to Weston this year. Nenek wasn't keen too. So what have done today? We had breakfast at Promendae in the morning and lunch at home. Dinner's ready but everybody's just tired now. We went to the nearby playground. My parents wanted to sweat it out so we walked a whole round of the pond. Dadee thought I was tireed but no, I went the whole round too. Because of my strength, Dadee let me join the other kids play on the slides and see-SAW. iT WAS FUN! i'M SUPPOSED TO BE HAVING MY BATH NOW BUT i INSIST i WATCH POCOYO FIRST.

Syawal Is Here

Finally, Syawal is here. I woke up at 630am today. Now that made my mamee happy coz it's not everyday that i wake up lambat. I'm an early bird. I was born at 8:09am so that explains it. They say early birds gets the early worms but of course I don't eat worms. I try to catch the earliest cartoon. Lucky i don't eat worm.

We had breakfast but as usual I rather have my cookies crips while watching my fave cartoons. None of us went to the Raya Prayers this morning. Until the h1N1 pandemic is still around, we're staying home. Nenda was with us too. Raya foods included rendang meat, chicken in satay sauce, nasi impit and lemang. All cooked by my Mamee. What I had? Animal shaped pasta - yummy!! I spent the whole day with Nenda while Mamee goes to work. Poor Mamee had to work but luckily only 3 hours.

It's raining all evening and I'm watching second round of Dora the Explorer on dvd. Astro's service is low when it rains.

Selamat Hari Raya my dear friends!

Ramadan Gone

Looks like it's the end of waking up in the wee early morning for my parents and Nenek. I can't promise I'll wake up a little later. I mean, a toddler's sleeping pattern is forever changing. I can't be bothered with all the happenings. I know I have discovered the other half of my birthday presents Dadee hid from me for the last 3 months. I have discovered that I actually have a doll house and I love it to bits - well, for now that is. Tomorrow is a big celebration after a month long of fasting for my family and many others. For us kiddies all we gotta do is dress up & collect duit Raya!!!! That's money and money but I still prefer toys....Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri all!!!

Go Wireless

Do you wonder how I am always able to blog no matter where I am? Thanks to my Daddy who is tech-savvy enough to get us a wireless router. Now where ever I am, in the bedroom, tv area, the kitchen or the dining room, I am able to connect to the Internet. I am able to browse on the Internet and even make an entry blog about my happenings or activity at home or out.

Our lives now are easy and comfortable. Those days my Mummy and Daddy had to take turns using the PC. Other times there would be little arguments when one of them were using the PC too long or when one of them had work to do on the PC. It's just funny how a PC can caused a fuss, huh? It's been a year now that we have this cable-less connection. Even while I sleep, Mummy is able to lie beside me and do her browsing on her laptop or even on her smartphone.

You should get one for your home or office. Daddy got one for home because he works from home. It's so convenient, affordable but most importantly it is super fast, thanks to broadband. You can also set your passwords so that neighbours or whoever passes by our house can't get connected or steal information. Go check it out now and don't miss the opportunity. Go wireless now!

Fried Noodles

I love noodles & I'm enjoying it now. Dadee bought it for me while Mamee went to do her little shopping at our local grocery shop. Mamee has a new toy. Dadee bought it for her last night. She was so excited. Anyway, you must be thinking it's Monday why aren't my parents working? Well it's Mamee's day off and Dadee has a 10am meeting. It's actually my 27-month check up at the clinic. I'm healthy weighing at 11kgs & 84cm. No injections, thank god! But something is awaiting me tonight. I have to down 10ml of worm medicine. Yuck!!! That's me at the clinic feasting my eyes on goldfishes.

It's Sunday!

Remember yesterday when I didn't take my afternoon nap? Well, I had my nap late in the evening and woke up after 6pm. I was so moody. Mamee offered me her hot dog and I rejected it. I almost wanted to have a bite but I remembered I was in a moody mode. So there I started me wanting to go down to watch Mickey Mouse and Mamee took me down. She fixed me dinner: rice with steamed fish and spinach soup. Yummy! Now that's the way to my heart is through good food. Nutritious! Speaking about heart. Just 2 days ago Mamee taught me where my heart was and how it sounded. Did you know that our heart is the size of our fist? My Mamee taught me that. Today I showed off to Dadee and he was impressed.

This morning I had Koko Krunch for breakfast and that took Mamee ages to figure out what I wanted. Of course I had my daily dose of Vitagen. Looks my parents will have to buy more. There's 1 more left in the refridgerator. It's almost 1pm and I'm still wide awake. I just had lunch and boy, ABC pasta cannot be rejected. My lunch was yummy and Mamee cooked it together with chicken and spinach. Another nutritious meal for the day.

All gone!

Saturday Is Here!

It's the weekend again! Today I woke up as early as 5am. I watched Sesame Street and drank my milk. By 7am I still wasn't sleepy and I had my breakfast: Jacobs chocolate biscuits and hard-boiled egg. The thing I love most about hard-boiled eggs are the egg white. I don't like the yolk but if Mamee made egg soup, I just eat everything.
By noon, it was lunch time and Nenda fed me rice with spinach soup and another hard-boiled eggs. You see how I love eggs? I had dragon fruits and by the Mamee got home, I still wasn't sleepy. Mamee gave me another biscuit for snack and pears but I was too full and rejected the pears. I love pears but not today.

Before The Night Ends

As this entry is written, I have been asleep for the past one hour. Remember the buttered noodles my Mamee made me? It looked yucky so I didn't have some. My Mamee was a little disappointed but she didn't give up. She made a mini fruit snack. Well, papayas, strawberries and grapes minus yoghurt for dipping. I ate strawberries but they were sour. Too bad but the papayas were nice and sweet and I had a lot of them. Grapes are yucky for now.
Evening snack was Pepperidge Farm Goldfish in Colours. Yummy! I love anything with cheese and this snack is cheddar cheese in fish shape. I love the colours. Because the package made it difficult but fun for me to dg in and find out what colour fish I got, Mamee poured some in a little container. I really indulged myself. Check out this website!

You think my day was over with food? Not yet. For dinner, Mamee prepared chicken soup with rice noodles with loads of veggies in it, fried mexican chicken wings and eggs with onions. I had the chicken soup with rice noodles - 3 rounds of it. Yummy! But wait. Before the main meal, I had dessert - strawberries dipped in nutella sandwich. Can you believe to the extent my Mamee would do to make me eat? She really knows how to grab my attention with food. I know how picky I am with food but I hope this has got nothing to do with my check up on the 14th. Did I mentioned i was 12kg when Mamee and I were in KL last July. It was amazing - gained 2kgs in 2 weeks, but I got sick last month so i dropped 1kg. So as I was saying chocolaty taste of nutella is incredible. I hope Mamee gives me some more next meal time.

Another Day

Today my Mamee is on another Day Off. I love Mamee's job. In fact, I love Dadee's job too because he spends most of the time at home working. Cool, huh? Anyway, my day started as early as 4am this morning. My parents had their sahur and Nenda kept me company watching Barnee and friends. I had my milk. My parents went to sleep and I watched cartoon until my eyes couldn't take it anymore. 7am I was back in dreamland. Initially I was cranky and Nenda sent me back to the bedroom. I just woke up an hour ago and Mamee made me Grilled Sandwiches. Yummy!

She's making me buttered noodles with chicken nuggets and mixed vegetables now for lunch. Yummy!!! I love noodles, do you?

Jojo Circus

Guess what? I'm already up. Yup, since 5am this morning! I drank my bottle of milk & I'm watching Jojo Circus. I love Jojo. She's a clown and it's fun watching her & friends. They do loads of fun stuff. Sometimes exercise movements & at the end of the show, Jojo shares what she has learnt. I always follow her exercises and that's why I'm fit. Hehehehe. You can't say I'm thin nor fat. I'm toned up-really! You should check out my hamstrings. I think my 3rd birthday will be Jojo Circus theme. Let's see next year! Long way to go!

Fun Weekend

It has been a fun weekend for me. My parents have been busy with their work and I just get to sit and watch tv. Of course, the tv area is my play area too. How convenient, eh? Yesterday, Mamee had to work for awhile and Nenda came to keep me company. I had abc and animal shapes pasta with chicken soup for breakfast and paratha for lunch. For dinner, I had instant noodles. Actually it was my Mamee's sungkai. I wanted some and ended up finishing it up for her. I love noodles!
Today started out with me putting lotion on dadee's face while he was sleeping. I had my bath earlier and for breakfast, it's paratha drizzled with condensed milk. Tv. Had some dragon fruit. Play. TV. Lunch was fish porridge. I always have early lunch because by noon when I have milk, I dosed off to sleep till evening. You may notice I watched a lot but I only get to watch Playhouse Disney & Nick Jr because I learn a lot with them and so my parents don't mind. I wonder what's for dinner? (It's Cheese wrapped up in Chicken slice - yuck!)

Banana Parathas

It's only 11.15am & Mamee made me something yummy. I love Bananas in Pyjamas and so Mamee made Banana Parathas for me. She fried the frozen parathas & put banana slices all over the paratha & sprinkled condense milk too. Nothing was left for Dadee.

Chipsmore: Now You See It, Now You Don't

It's Mamee's day off. I get to stay home with her and watch lots of Playhouse Disney. I'm already up and munching on my favorite cookies, Chipsmore in butter crunch. The ones with double chocolate are nice too! I'm a chocolate lover. It's going to be a long day & I'm really looking forward to fun times with my Mamee & Dadee. I wonder what Mamee's cooking today?

Carrots & Pears

Today it rained the whole day. When it rains everything feels cozy and especially when it's night time. I had early dinner this evening. My Mamee cooked rice with chicken potatoes, cabbage with carrots & eggs with onions & tomatoes. All I ate was carrots - lots of them! They're so yummy. Before I end dinner, I had a lot of pears. Oh, they're so juicy! Right now I'm in dreamland. Zzzzzzzzz...

Long Weekend

You know what I love about long weekends? I get to spend quality time with my parents. It's the Holy Month of Ramadan. My parents aren't eating. This is what they call fasting. I wonder how they can stand that long without any food. They will wake up so early in the morning and I too end up waking up and get to watch Sesame Street, Barnee, Harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs while lying on my little mattress in case I fall back to sleep which is a Never case and one hand with chipmore and the other hand holding Vitagen. Life's great for a kid. I love watching TV. I love dancing and learning. I also love exercising with Jojo. So, I'm not actually a couch potato. My Mamee was exaggerating. On weekends like this, my parents and I would go do grocery shopping too and that'a a fun place to learn about fruits and vegetables.

So the long weekend is over. Today I offered my Nenek fish fritters and he said he's fasting. I wonder when I'll be able to fast. I eat most of the time and snacking is more like it. Food is fun at daycare. I don't know why. I guess it's fun with friends. By teh time I'm home, I'm already too full for a meal but I enjoy my rounds of chipmores and cheese. Of course, they will have to go together with Ribena or Vitagen. At home, I'm the only kid and for now I rule the play area. I own it even when I have a sibling.

Have I ever mentioned I'm a fussy eater? The pics below was taken by Mamee in June. See to what extent she goes to make me a fun breakfast? Cute face but eggs with salmon spread for eyes and nose? - nah! I prefer the blueberry jam on the pandan pancakes. The rest are all YUCK! Good job, Mamee!
