Sing, Sing, Sing

Has it been more than a week since my last entry? Well, I've been busy. I'm adjusting myself to playschool level 2. Together with 2 other friends from level 1, we have new friends now. No more babies around and looks like we're the babies now. Everyone's so bigger and my loud voice isn't ready to be shown off. Well, not just yet.

Last night Mamee and Dadee discovered that I already know my ABCs and nursery rhymes. Mamee sang and I end every verse. Boy, were they proud of me. I don't bother to show off and I only wait till I'm ready to disclose my abilities. I'm a Gemini. Below are pictures what I've been up to:

I continue to mess up the living room area,

I have a weird fashion sense,

I love ice cream and I guess that's why I'm coughing and

I love it that on weekends I get to have for breakfast: roti pratha with Nussfit!

I'm Feeling Much Better!

Yes, today I feel much better. I have started being the demanding me but last night I was being moody. The heat was too much and I couldn't bear it. This morning I cried when I was given my medicine - yucky! The medicine however made me stop vomiting. I had noodles for breakfast but that came out of my system almost immediately. I had Nesquick and that went out too. Both are my favorite weekend breakfast! After medication, my hunger pangs once again is up and Mamee prepared me a mid morning snack: hard boiled eggs, cheese with bread. A wholesome snack I must. Proteins from the eggs, dairy from cheese and grains from bread. Oh, I had english white bread. Dadee bought the wrong bread.

Burp! Yum, Yum!

Oh, that was a lovely dinner my Mamee made. It was chicken soup with glass noodles. The glass noodles are made of sweet potatoes. She bought it from Giant. Glass noodles always makes me in the mood to eat because I love noodles.

Any kind of noodle is what I love especially when I have a fever. Got the bug this morning. Darn but it didn't spoil my day. I had a short nap and that was good to continue my daily dose of Playhouse Disney. I get to skip playschool today and Mamee get to skip work. Yay!

Of course, apart from noodles I also love pasta. ABC pasta, animal shaped pasta, car shaped and sponge bob. Thanks to Aunt Sam for stocking us with pastas. You can find them in KK. It's just too bad. I love cream cheese with bread stix too. That's me in the car with my ball enjoying them.

The other night Mamee made tofu soup and that was yummy too. I don't really fancy pasta with tomato sauce. I also don't like round fruits like blueberries or grapes although i love feeling hoe round they are. I don't like the taste but Mamee thinks I will outgrow it and will love one day like she and Dadee loves it.

My parents these days cooked a lot at home. The kitchen and dining room is convenient now, now that it's downstairs. I wander when Mamee will let me help her in the kitchen?

Oh yes, on another note. I'm wearing training pants now. Hate them! Mamee ordered them from Jshoppers.com. I'm not ready for the potty yet but Mamee is trying her best to gain my interest. She even bought me a book on potty rhymes and songs.

Pool Pool Pool!

I used to hate water but now I love water. I love having baths in my little bath tub and Mamee lets me enjoy my bath while she showers. I like to pretend that I'm in a jacuzzi and when it's time to dry up, I let Mamee force me out of the bath tub. Yesterday for the first time after a few visits, I was enjoying the pool with my rubber duckie and sat and waddle in my pool patrol. I wished I could play longer in the pool but it was getting cold and my parents forced me out. I cried and they promised to take me to the playground. They didn't but today I played on all the toys at Toys'R' Us. My Mamee got me a few stuff and we went off to the supermarket for groceries. I slept on the way home.

Last Kid Eating

We had an early morning today. We had breakfast at Kah Hiong. My parents are beef noodles lovers and I am myself too. We rarely eat red meat at home so at least once a month we indulge ourselves. Oh, did I mention I got the sniffles? Yup, caught it yesterday and open houses today are cancelled in our agenda. We got two invitations but my parents don't want me to spread my sniffles so we're staying home or just staing away from open houses. It must have been the sniffles or it's the yummmy beef noodles. I was the last kid eating my noodles and soup. Yummy!!!!

Playground

It's the second day of Syawal. You must be wondering why we have not had our open house or gone to any. Firstly, most of my parents' friends are back in their kampungs so we're waiting for them to come back. That is, of course, if they want to repeat the tiresome cooking last week when we had friends over for iftar. Another reason is because my parents are avoiding crowded places. You know how it is with open houses. We didn't even go back to Weston this year. Nenek wasn't keen too. So what have done today? We had breakfast at Promendae in the morning and lunch at home. Dinner's ready but everybody's just tired now. We went to the nearby playground. My parents wanted to sweat it out so we walked a whole round of the pond. Dadee thought I was tireed but no, I went the whole round too. Because of my strength, Dadee let me join the other kids play on the slides and see-SAW. iT WAS FUN! i'M SUPPOSED TO BE HAVING MY BATH NOW BUT i INSIST i WATCH POCOYO FIRST.

Syawal Is Here

Finally, Syawal is here. I woke up at 630am today. Now that made my mamee happy coz it's not everyday that i wake up lambat. I'm an early bird. I was born at 8:09am so that explains it. They say early birds gets the early worms but of course I don't eat worms. I try to catch the earliest cartoon. Lucky i don't eat worm.

We had breakfast but as usual I rather have my cookies crips while watching my fave cartoons. None of us went to the Raya Prayers this morning. Until the h1N1 pandemic is still around, we're staying home. Nenda was with us too. Raya foods included rendang meat, chicken in satay sauce, nasi impit and lemang. All cooked by my Mamee. What I had? Animal shaped pasta - yummy!! I spent the whole day with Nenda while Mamee goes to work. Poor Mamee had to work but luckily only 3 hours.

It's raining all evening and I'm watching second round of Dora the Explorer on dvd. Astro's service is low when it rains.

Selamat Hari Raya my dear friends!
