Nenda's Birthday

Actually, Nenda's birthday was on 1st May. Nenda insisted we had her birthday lunch at Fish&Co instead of some fancy hotel. Mamee was disappointed but there's always Mother's Day, right Mamee? We all had a great time. I had a taste of Fish&Co's Best Fish in Town. It was tasty and I loved it! I'm glad I can eat more now! Nenda's cake looked delicious but Mamee said I can only have chocolate after I turned 1. Well, that's not too long from now. Nenda and I spent time around Warisan Square too. I love my Nenda. Nenda, Happy Birthday and many more birthdays to come!

Only in Silence

Oh, my Mamee is just so busy on the Internet. Recently she discovered so many mommy blogs and she is just so hooked on to them. Even I can't distract her attention. One of the blogs she finds interesting now is this blog, Only in Silence. This is not your typical mama-next-door blogger and Mamee finds the writer so funny. Mamee said she has this Tuesday Toot Meme posts and it's obviously her posts on every Tuesdays. She is so creative and Mamee was so impressed. Why didn't she think of it before? I think Mamee has something up her sleeves to work on her blog and perhaps this blog of mine too. Now Mamee has a blog to forward to everyday for ideas. Of course, no plagiarism okay Mamee!

Mamee said she's recommending this blog to all mommies out there reading this post. It's got funny comic strips which Mamee didn't allow me to see and home videos. If you're a mommy and you want to have a good read of other mommies, this the blog to check out.

Slim Shady

Today we went to my check-up at the Mother & Baby Clinic. Mamee's been blending my food and today I'm still underweight and the nurse told Mamee not to blend my food anymore. I should be eating chopped food now but that still scares Mamee because she's afraid that I'll choke. She still blend my food during dinner hours ago.

I should eat more often which of course I do. I'm still on Appeton Multivitamins. Actually Dadee stopped giving me it because I don't need it but today the nurse said I still need the multivitamins. There's a lot of contradictions in the world of medicine. I think I'll be a doctor one day to find out more. Doctor Lai thinks it's okay for me to be slim because I'm a girl. Today he said I should start taking 3/4 boiled eggs. Mamee asked just the egg yolk?? Doctor Lai said No, everything! and top it off with honey???!!

My Mamee & Dadee

They've reached their second year together as husband and wife yesterday. This year, however, they celebrated it with me! Last year I was still in Mamee's tummy. (wink, wink)

Thoughts Of Mine!

If you are a stay-at-home mommy, this is a blog I recommend. The writer herself is a stay-at-home mommy and she works at home to chip into the household. I discovered apart from personal posts and opinions on products as well as services, a site dedicated to stay-at-home mommies. Check out the link on her blog. It's on her Work at home Mommy post. I checked it out for the fun of it and I think I am going to try it out even though I am working full time. I do really need the extra income anyway.

My first Christmas in U.S. is another post of hers that you should read. If you have been to the U.S., you might just recall back the days when you first celebrated Christmas in the States. She wrote it in the way that it really did brought back sweet memories for me. She spoke of her gifts and how she felt loved by her in-laws. The writer also recommends other sites that could of interest to her readers. This blog is a must read and how about checking it out now.

Dood Patti, anyone?

Ha! I discovered this website Dood Patti. After reading the blog I know now what Dood Patti means. It's tea! Tea with milk to be exact. This tea is taken a lot in Pakistan and it kind of sound like teh tarik to me. Dood is milk while Patti is tea leaf. So in Pakistan you drink tea with water and milk plus sugar but if you want more milk in your tea, boil your tea leafs in milk. Next time I go to the mamak, I'd ask for Dood Patti.

There's a lot of travelling information here on Pakistan. I haven't been to there yet and I do want to go. Now I have this blog for reference and how about you check this blog out too. The writer writes about a lot of things I don't even know about Pakistan. It's very informative and it just makes me want to desperately visit this beautiful country called, Pakistan.

Lights Out

Last night the whole of KK went black out. I thought Dadee was playing with the lights again. When it happened Mamee was preparing my dinner and I was in th ekitchen with her. It was so dark. I was curious why Mamee rushed to the room with me in her arms. Dadee was the bedroom and we left dinner outside immediately. Mamee was supposed to feed me before we left but last night she took my dinner along.

The streets were dark and there were not much lights up. I kind of enjoy the ride as I always do. I love standing and looking out while Dadee drive. I sat with Mamee behind but I usually stand up. I can't see much sitting. I'm still too short. Traffic lights were out but Mr Police Man were there in the scene. We ended up having dinner at Grace Point. I wasn't really hungry and Mamee was disappointed with me. I saw so many kids like me and I wish they'd look at me and smile back. I get excited everytime I see kids. Maybe next time when I can walk, I'll just walk up to them and say 'hi'.
