Last Night

Last night I dozed off early. I was too full and sleepy. I wanted milk from Mamee and I went off to dreamland immediately. Mamee wanted to give me dinner but I passed on it. Probably I'll have dinner tonight that is, of course, if I don't doze off again. Hehehe. I coughed while sleeping and it bothered me. My Mamee is coughing too. I guess she got it from me. Poor Mamee. We both we were on Vapour Rubs last night to keep away from blocked noses.

Weekend Birthday Party

We have a weekend birthday party to attend to this sunday at 4pm. Aidan will be celebrating his 5th birthday. My that's been a lot of birthdays. I will soon celebrate my birthday too. I'll be 1 year old and Mamee's got me a present already. I haven't seen it yet but she was showing me off one day a blue paper bag.

Yesterday I got 2 dresses by Naughty Ones from Aunty Misha. It was very unexpected Mamee said. She bumped into Aunty Misha and they ended up going over to Kids Avenue and coming out with a couple of dresses for me. Lucky me! I have 2 dresses now to add to the collection of dresses that I already have. Hmmm..which will I wear to the party? Mamee, help me out here, please?

More Solids

Mamee has been so hardworking this week. Not only is she juggling her day job, she's also taking care of my well-being especially my food intake. She's worried about my health too. I've been sick. Yup, I got the flu and cough again. I must have gotten them from daycare.

Last night Mamee steamed porridge blended with spinach, carrots and chicken. Chicken is very new to me. It was nice and very green with a little orange. I just took in what Mamee fed me. I kept opening my mouth for more and that always put a smile to Mamee's face. I wonder what's for dinner tonight?

I heard Mamee telling Dadee that she's taking leave mid of the month. Right her leave is freeze due to the election going on. My Mamee works for a department considered important in the government. She wants to spend time with me and keep me away from daycare for awhile. My little friends are teething too so I guess that's why we're all passing the virus around.

I still have only my little white pearls. Mamee told me she's getting me a baby toothbrush soon. Last night after dinner, she only managed to get me a spill-free bowl. She got it for me so I can learn self feeding. No new tooth coming yet. If there are, well, Mamee will have another headache with my fever.

Separation Anxiety Part ii

Mamee can't leave me even a second. She just needed to wash her hands in the toilet but that won't stop me from crying for her. I feel lonely the moment I don't see her. That goes the same when we'r e in the living room. She'll keep me in my baby walker and let me play with my toys and she'll rush to the kitchen but that too will make me cry out loud till Atuk comes running to my attention. I love the attention he gives me actually.

Last Friday evening, I cried when Kakak gave me to Mamee. I wanted her to carry me back inside daycare. I spent 8 hours at daycare and sometimes I get confused as to who is Mamee. When I smell Mamee only then I know it's my Mamee who's carrying me.

Mamee said this a phase for me called Separation Anxiety. She said she's going to buy a doll to keep me company. If she's in the toilet, at least I'm not alone. How does this doll look like?

Uncle Constan

This is my Uncle Constan. That's me when I about a month old. He left for London yesterday. My uncle is a radio and TV broadcaster.
