Happy Birthday, Shayna Heather!

Today is my lil friend's birthday. Her name is Shayna Heather. She turns 1 today. My family and I were invited to her party today. It was a sunny day and what a day to make a party. It was nice. There was goodies for us kiddies but I can't take them yet so Mamee gobble everything. Shayna's birthday cake was lovely too. I hope my cake will be as lovely next year. I turn 1 in June 2008. My Monthly Check up

I hate check-ups! The nurses always poke needles at me. The last time they poked needles on my thighs and today they poked my left arm. It hurt and I cried so loud! Normally Mamee will feed me after 1/2 an hour because of the polio dose but this time she fed me immediately after we got in the car. What a relief. I slept soundly after. This time the nurses gave me my measles dose. Oh, I don't want to think about it. Mamee told me this is the last jap for now. My next jap will be when I turn 1 and that's 6 months from now. I don't think I'll be looking forward to my 1st birthday. Boo-hoo!

Ho, Ho, Ho!!

Hi, everyone. Merry Christmas!!! Hope everyone of you who are celebrating Christmas especially you little friends of mine are enjoying yourselves with your loved ones. More toys I assumed??? As for me, I've been celebrating since the weekend. Will update later after all these are over. I got to attend a couple of invites today. More food but I'll just stick to baby food for now. Have fun everyone!!!

I'm going to the... what???

My Mamee said when I turn 3 years old, she wants to send me to The Montessori. She said there's one near to home. They cater for 3-7 year olds and a trained teacher from the United Kingdom will teach us little kids how to speak, read and write in English. My Mamee said she wants to start me early so after I end daycare, she's going to send me to that new school. She's so excited that daycare or pre-schools are so near to our house. She's excited that I would make more friends too since our neibourhood don't have that much kids. But of course, Mamee's going to check on the price and the right schedule for me. If you're 3 and above, The Montessori is at the ITC building on the road that leads to Signal Hill. Oh, it's the building opposite the Bird Sanctuary.

Xmas Shopping

Just this week, I got myself a few new dresses, toy, book and a teddy bear backpack. Wow, it's great to be a baby! I feel so pampered and I hope there's more. Xmas is around the corner, guys! I tell you my Mamee is a great shopper. She shops when she's at work. She shops after work especially when she and Dadee decide that we're all eating out. I guess that's an excuse to go out shopping. Hehehe. Ya, like when my diapers running out. All in all, Mamee's a shopaholic. I always tag along and I always end up in the stroller sleeping. It's really nice though to wake up to smiling faces with gifts in their hands.

Last night Nenda (grandma) joined us at Warisan Square. They ate at Secret Recipe while I dosed off and shopped til I woke up crying. The book I got is on colours and I love the book. I love teddy bear too even though he's actually a backpack. He makes me laugh. Mamee named him Mr Brown.

Happy Birthday Lana Alesha!

I want to wish my little friend, Lana Alesha a very happy 2nd birthday and many more birthdays and toys to come!!!! She's in Switzerland. I went to her birthday party last month when she and her mommy were back in Malaysia. I hope she loves my gift. I got her a white jacket with flower embroidery paired with white pants. My Mamee helped me choose it because little girls must be in style. My Mamee is one hootie mama. She's always trying to dress as yummy mummy as she can. Lana's mommy is a yummy mummy too. She has a blog but you can hardly see her in it.

I got a toy!

Hi, I got a toy! It's a Lady Butterfly by Tiny Love. I love it! Mamee said my Lady Butterfly helps control of my hands improves and allowing me to reach out confidently. So when Mamee gave it to me, I grabbed the hanging Lady Butterfly and play with it. I can hold my Lady Butterfly in my hand and shake it from side to side. I also love to examine the butterfly using my hands, and especially in my mouth – but it tastes yucky! The toy helps me learn about the assorted textures the Lady Butterfly is made of and the various sounds it can make. I don't know how to make it squeak yet so Mamee help me squeeze the head to make it squeak. Thank you Mamee, I love you...

Little Blogger

Sometimes when I'm free, I help my Mamee blog about me. No seriously, I do! I help her add on things she might missed out on me. Hehehe. I'm Mamee's little blogger. Just like Santa Claus has his little helpers, the elves. When Mamee chats, I chat too. Really, I do! I love to pat on the keyboard. It's a great feeling. I love it! I don't know how to press yet but whatever I'm doing on the keyboard, it's displayed on this screen. I'm so attracted to it. It's amazing how you press something and it comes out on another. Cool. I like this toy but Mamee said it's not a toy. Mamee told me she'll get me a better toy to play with so I can pat and pat and pat on it. It's my favorite activity now. I love to pat on the table too but the keyboard is by far the best. I can't wait for my new toy and Christmas is just around the corner..

Green Apple

I hate those tiny, evil, green insects. My right foot sole have recovered but I think I'm scarred for life. The itch mark is still there but my Mamee put a lot of cream there so it'll go away forever. Well, that's the only green thing I'll hate. Look at this green apple dress I'm wearing. Mamee said Aunty Logina bought it for me for Christmas. It's an early Christmas gift but Mamee said it's ok for me to wear it now. Hehehe. How do look? Don't I look, pweety????

Good Posture

The other day when I was spending time with Dadee in the living room, he taught me to sit on my own. He sat me on the big sofa. I have good posture especially when I'm supported. My mamee said it won't long now when I can sit on my own without support. I feel tickled because Dadee was taking my pictures again. He was also making funny faces. He's making me into a model with him behind the camera. Next tim ewhen I can walk, I'll catwalk for my Dadee. I love my Dadee. He always make me smile and laugh. Hey, Dadee..how's this pose?

I Love McDonald's part ii

Hello, I want to show off my pictures at McDonald's. If you are reading this and you're barely 1 year old like me. This is the place to be. I'm loving it. Gee, I love the tagline. My parents love coming here. Sometimes they have breakfast here. Sometimes they have lunch here and sometimes they have dinner here. It's the nearest to home. Look at me play. Well, not exactly but when I can stand on my own without Mamee's help, I will definitely play on this colourful slide. I will scream with joy. Jump and laugh. Slide and slide and slide till it's time to go home.

I'm still sick

Hello, friends! I'm still sick but I'm recovering. My Mamee said I have phlegm now and that is irritating me. She said I'm going to get well soon provided I take my cough syrup on time. I can take my syrup well now. I think it tastes better than food. My parents haven't given me that thing you call rice cereal. I think they forgot all about it. Hehehe. Anyway, I surprised my parents twice in a row this week. I made them proud I think. I can lie on my tummy now all by myself. I like the feeling and it makes me smile. Before they used to help me lie on my tummy but today I'm on my own, Mamee! Hurray for me!

My "Toy"

I have a fancy for my Anakku baby wipes. I don't know why but I like lookign at it. Mamee said it's not a toy but I still like it. I would hold it, look at it and it's blue. When I feel like it, I want to have it in my mouth. I guess I was just to curious how it tastes like. Mamee knows I love this weird "toy" of mine so whenever she wants to get my attention she'll give it to me. She also gave me a real toy to play with but it doesn't tickle my fancy. It tastes weird. It is light pink in colour. It has water in it but I like to hold it. Mamee won't take it away from if I hold this toy. I got another toy actually. Mamee said his name is Pingu. I got it from Mikhail's birthday party. Pingu is black. Mamee said he's a penguin. He looks edible but Mamee won't have me eat him. Can I have another toy, please?

I Love McDonald's

On saturday morning, my Mamee & Dadee took me to McDonald's. I can't enjoy the meals there yet but my parents sure did. I'm still too young but my Mamee said the time will come. Grrrrrr...I hate food! I hate the taste of what Mamee gave me. She said it's called rice cereal. It was just that one time she had me try it. It was yucky.

Anyway, I think I'm going to love coming to this place called McDonald's. There's this clown sitting outside on a bench and Mamee said his name is Ronald McDonald. I think he owns this place because it's named after him and he sits there watching over it. When I'm older I can play on the in-door playground. I love it. It's so colourful. I love the colour red on it. It's so striking, I'm attracted to it. I hope Mamee and Dadee take me there again eventhough I can't eat there yet. I'm loving it!
